Why Daily and Hourly Technical Ratings Disagree
Different timeframes answer different questions. Disagreement is information, not automatically an error.
Each candle covers a different interval
Daily indicators use daily bars; hourly indicators use hourly bars. The same indicator length therefore describes different stretches of market history. A short pullback can affect an hourly reading while leaving the daily setup different.
A practical comparison
Select 1D to orient yourself, then 4H or 1H to inspect the shorter-term picture. Use Compare to view the three gauges together. The site does not combine them into one score, and counting how many say Buy does not establish a probability of success.
Align the inputs
- Use the same ticker and exchange-qualified symbol.
- Check the chart’s timezone and session coverage.
- Make sure the candle you are reading has finished if you want a closed-bar comparison.
- Remember that crypto’s continuous market differs from stock sessions.
One interface detail to remember
Use IsItBullish’s 1D, 4H and 1H buttons to update the chart and gauge together. A change made within the embedded chart’s toolbar affects only that chart. Our comparison widgets remain separate views, not copies of a chart-toolbar selection.
